The Slingerland Vintage 1958 3-Ply Expansion Pack adds an exclusive sound to the DW Soundworks collection. These samples were captured from DW founder Don Lombardi's personal 1958 Slingerland kit. These drums feature mahogany-poplar shells which deliver darker tonal qualities with rich, warm low end and medium sustain.

Included in the DW Soundworks core library, these drums are particularly great for jazz, R&B, and singer-songwriter applications.

All DW Soundworks samples are recorded in the highest level of audio fidelity. DW's collection of outboard gear includes best in class microphones, high-quality microphone preamplifiers (mic preamps), a variety of compressors and equalizers, and other tools which capture the genuine tonality of drums as they were meant to sound for an authentic audio experience.
