The DW Collector's Series is a pinnacle in custom-made drums. Designed and handcrafted in the California Custom Shop, the Collector's Series offers quality, elegance, and performance fit for the touring or recording pro and the passionate player or collector.
This DW Collector's Series snare drum features a 100% North American Hard Rock Maple 10-ply shell constructed with VLT™ (Vertical Low Timbre) method. This grain orientation features vertical plies to reduce shell tension for fatter punch and attack, lower tonality, and a wide tuning range.
This snare is fitted with the patented MAG throw-off, five-position buttplate, True-Tone Snare Wires, True-Hoops, and DW Heads by Remo. This snare is finished with a hand-applied satin oil finish for classy and understated appearance. *
