DW is proud to introduce the Collectors Series in Pure Walnut.
Pure Walnut Shells
10" - 24" Pure Walnut drums feature a 9-Ply VLT shell and Pure Walnut snare drums feature a 12-Ply VLT shell. Bearing edges are 45-degrees on toms and 60-degrees on snares & bass drums.
Vertical Low Timbre
VLT shells incorporate plies that run vertically, rather than in the traditional horizontal configuration. The vertical grain reduces tension on a shell, allowing it to vibrate more freely for lower fundamental pitch.
From Studio to Stage
Pure Walnut provides a full-bodied, musical tone with a decidedly shorter note. If you’re looking for a distinctive voice that shines both on stage and in the studio, Pure Walnut delivers.
