 Snare Drum Features and Options
Countless refinements and design innovations make DW Collector’s Series® snare drums The Drummer’s Choice®. From the Delta ball-bearing throw-off (U.S. Patent #6,573,442B1) to True-Tone® stainless steel snare wires to DW heads by Remo USA, a Collector’s Series® Snare is built for sound and built to last. Add to that solid shells, multiple plied shell configurations, metal shell choices, available vintage-style tube lugs and die-cast hoops to get the most complete line of custom snares available today.
The Swivel Throw-off can be adjusted from side to side, or any position in between. Available as standard equipment on all Edge and solid shell snare drums.
Heavy-duty diecast counterhoops are available in 13” and 14” 10-lug sizes. Chrome only.
