Based on many of the design innovations that have made the heavy-duty 9000 Series line of hardware a touring preference for many of the world’s top pros, Drum Workshop, Inc. has recently unveiled its versatile line of matching 9000 Series percussion hardware. As with 9000 Series drum hardware, the stands feature oversized 1.25” tubing, dual-vise, integrated memory locks, oversized tube joints and many of the revolutionary features that have helped make DW hardware an industry standard.

The line includes the 9200 Double Conga Stand with unique Push-Lock™ mechanism that securely holds the drums in place while eliminating the need for separate wing screws or washers. The line also includes the 9400 Bongo Stand with toothless angle adjustment that holds bongos via a versatile new basket system. Other hardware includes the 9600 Timbale Stand with Push-Lock™ and toothless cowbell mount and the 9290 lightweight aluminum conga cradle. Designed by Randall May International, the 9290 Conga Cradle is based on their patented, award-winning stadium hardware technology.

DW Director of Operations and Research and Development Team Leader Rich Sikra said, “We’ve seen what’s out there and felt we could utilize some of our drum hardware innovations to make an impact with percussionists. Plus, we knew we could improve upon most of the mounting options that are currently available. Percussionists are no different than drum set players in that they want gear that’s functional and reliable.”

All of the hardware is designed to integrate seamlessly with Gon Bops California Series drums, but can be easily adapted to work with other popular brands.
