- 8000 Pedals feature a Diamond Base Plate
- Like the 9000, DW 8000 Series Pedals feature an Infinite Adjustable Cam, allowing the pedal to be easily set from Accelerator™ to Turbo™ Drive or anywhere in between.
- Like the 5000, 8000 pedals feature a Bearing Spring Rocker Assembly.
- State-of-the-art Ball Bearing Hinge design identical to 9000 pedals (U.S. Patent No. 5431081)
- The Dual Adjustable Toe Clamp ensures the pedal and drum stay connected. (same as 9000)
- The Single Post Casting design on DW’s double pedals provides ease of movement between the pedal and hi-hat, also allowing the pedals to be played independently or simultaneously. (U.S. Patent No. 5396826)
- DW machines its Precision Universal assemblies in-house from aircraft-grade aluminum to meet strict tolerances. The result is a double pedal with smooth, effortless action.
- The 8002 Double Pedal includes a Vinyl Soft Case.

8000B Series Bass Drum Pedals
The 8000B and 8002B include all of the same features as the 8000 and 8002, but with Power Footboards and Black Diamond Pedal Plates.
