5000 Series Bass Drum Pedals

Featuring a host of refinements and upgrades, the legendary line of 5000 Series bass drum pedals features a choice of drive systems (all pictured below), aluminum hex shafts, pedal plates and linkages, dual side adjusting hoop clamp, 101 two-way beater, and built in spurs. The Accelerator™ (AD3) drive system offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard, increasing the velocity of the pedal by shortening the length of the stroke. It is recommended for situations that require increased speed and sensitivity.
The Turbo™ (TD3) concentric drive system maintains a direct relationship between the sprocket and the footboard to provide a solid, powerful, consistent feel and response.
We also offer the Lefty Double Turbo™ (TDL3) pedal with all the same features as it's right-footed brother.

Features

DW’s patented Delta Ball-Bearing Hinge is a state-of-the-art lightweight aluminum design that incorporates ball bearings at both sides.

5000 pedals feature a Bearing Spring Rocker Assembly.

The Dual Adjustable Toe Clamp ensures the pedal and drum stay connected. Convenient Clip with Drum Key also included.

The Single Post Casting design on DW’s double pedals provides ease of movement between the pedal and hi-hat, also allowing the pedals to be played simultaneously.

Optional DW Customizing Kit (DWSM1260) includes Elevator Heel Stackers, which allow players to experiment with nine different footboard angles.

5000ADH Heelless Bass Drum Pedals

Part of a full line of 5000 Series specialty pedals, the 5000 Heel-less is a revolutionary design that offers drummer a low profile option that’s suited for both heel-up and heel-down players. It’s heel-less profile allows drums an uninhibited rocking motion that improves speed and makes for even, effortless double strokes on the bass drum.

Identical to the 5000 pedal, but with a solid power footboard, The 5000ADS bass drum pedal features the Accelerator™ (AD3) drive system which offers an eccentric motion that creates an indirect relationship between the sprocket and the footboard. 5000S Sidekick Pedal

The 5000S Sidekick is an upward striking pedal that's perfect for cocktail set-ups or for adding a new kick sound to any drum kit. It's firmly supported by a 1/2" rod that conveniently slips into any DW TB12 floor tom bracket and its unique rope drive feels natural and effortless. It boasts standard 5000 Series features such as a Delta ball bearing hinge, slotted stroke adjustment and 101 2-way beater. Add one to a 16" or 18" floor tom for an alternate wide-open tone.
