Color is added to the shell using a proprietary rolling machine that spins the shell slowly to allow the finish to be evenly applied. The shell is then hand rubbed to remove excess stain and further penetrate the wood’s surface. The result is a matte finish that accentuates the beauty and figuring of the wood.
