40 YEARS OF DRUM MAKING INNOVATION IN ONE SET

To celebrate 40 years as The Drummer's Choice, we proudly present the Limited Edition Collector's Series Tamo Ash Exotic Anniversary Kit. Crafted at our California Custom Shop from North American Hard Rock Maple using our exclusive SSC technology, it's a drumset that sounds every bit as impressive as its highly-figured Tamo Ash exterior looks. The hand-selected Tamo veneer is finished in stunning metallic pewter-to-natural lacquer burst and fitted with specialty vintage pewter plated hardware to complete the look.

The Exotic Tamo Ash veneer selected for the set was handpicked by DW Executive Vice President and Drum Designer, John Good for the project. Good comments, "One of our first Exotic finishes was Tamo, and it was very popular. We had so many requests to bring it back, but I just couldn't find a log worthy of our drums. When I found this one, I knew it was something special. The figuring and grain are absolutely stunning. I worked with our Lead Painter, Louie Garcia, to create a Metallic Pewter Burst lacquer that fades to the natural beauty of the wood. We even went with limited-run Vintage Pewter plating on the all of the drum hardware. We're very proud of this set and it kicks off our 40th Anniversary in a big way."

Each pre-configured set includes: 8x10" and 9x12" rack toms, 12x14" and 14x16" floor toms, a matching 5.5x14" snare drum, an 18x22" bass drum with a numbered certificate of authenticity signed by John Good and DW founder, Don Lombardi. The kit also includes a factory-installed May Monorail internal miking system with Audix D6 microphone on the bass drum.
Only 100 Anniversary kits will be produced and each one is a unique work of art.
